From Rock, acoustic to country...McGourty's has it! We regularly have local favourites all playing for us....We encourage new talent and most weekends there is live music waiting for you...our guitar is always tuned for anyone who wants to pop in and play a song....

We love our Irish heritage and Traditional Irish music sessions & our Acoustic Nights are frequent in Mc Gourty's.  sessions of music, sing-a-long and Irish" craic "are always to be had..so feel free to pop in and join us

SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS

In McG's Bar, we never let an event go by without marking the occasion and we've got seasonal events running all year round!

 
  • Halloween dress parties
  • Christmas - which we do in our very own style, including a fun Christmas Jumper Party!
  • Our famous New Year's bash
  • Fun Pool Competitions
  • The renowned Rose of Castlerea Festival every August, when we run live music throughout the festival
  • Of course, let's not forget St Patrick's Day - when we literally party like a Paddy!!

Charity & Community events play a big part in the McGourty's Bar  Calendar, and are hugely important to us. You have already helped us support loads of great Causes, Charities & our Community. So, if you want to get involved, make sure you keep in touch.
