McGourtys Bar, Main Street, Castlerea is a family run public house which caters for parties and coach tours as well as our regulars.   Proprietors  Pat and Lorna  Mc Gourty took over the running of the pub less than two years ago and  have worked hard to upgrade and improve facilities. 

 

We are THE live music venue and are fast becoming THE destination pub in the popular town of Castlerea for all things Sporty, especially for Horse Racing.  A Warm & Friendly Traditional Bar with Live Music & Live Sports on ground floor leading to Courtyard Beer Garden (smoking option). We are an ideal venue for your Everyday Needs and Your Special Occasions.

 

We can help make your party or event by pre ordering drinks, carafes of wine, beer buckets, bottles of fizz. We provide complimentary iced jugs of water and squash. Perhaps add some food for your guests to nibble on. We pride ourselves on our professional service, friendliness and cleanliness. With our wealth of experience, we will assist you in having a memorable and dream event.

 

Whatever you need we will provide! (Within Reason!!!)

 

McG's is open late 7 days and nights a week with some of Irelands best music at the weekend!

FUNERAL RECEPTIONS

 

With many years of experience, we pride ourselves on providing a professional and sensitive service at receptions following funeral.

 

We appreciate that the nature of funerals make forward planning difficult, but will strive to help plan the arrangements and to assist at what is a difficult time for those involved.
